“Strong performances from the leads are central to this finely crafted drama that hits many resonant points about long-fractured relationships.”
– VIFF 2017“It’s a dark but impressive short film which really shows despite issues, there’s still some love somewhere, even if it doesn’t always show.”
– Nick Wangersky / Hollywood North Magazine (Oct 3, 2017)

FÖRANDRA SKOLAN! [2013]
The film describes the teacher’s frustration and attempts to get pupils attention. With Socrates help, he changes his attitude from trying to gain control. He introduces thoughts about man, contributing to self-awareness and the sense of shared responsibility for creating work comfort and motivation in the class.
The film’s idea is also to reflect on the purpose of the school. Is it to shape children into working life resources or to help them grow as fellow human beings? Do you prefer competition and individualism in favor of community and solidarity?
The film can be seen by teachers and other school staff to reflect on the insights it awakens with each one. It can also be shown to students. One tip is not to answer yourself to the students’ questions, but instead ask; what do you think about it yourself?
The film can be used as a discussion material in various subjects such as Swedish or other languages, social orientation or psychology.
